PERPETUAL HORROR

Kerith Manderson-Galvin

Kerith Manderson-Galvin is a Queer Femme non-binary artist who creates unconventional works of theatre and performance art. Their work explores Queer femininity and radically soft performance that plays with time, reality and feelings. Kerith has performed across Australia in theatres, galleries, gigs, and art and music festivals including at RISING, Provocare, Dark Mofo, Winter Wild, Art Gallery of NSW, and RCC.

'“An indescribable changeling squirms its way through an undulating ritual and Manderson-Galvin pulls us into a liquid space, leaving language behind to build another world somewhere between sublimation and the sublime.”

An intimate experience by performance maker Kerith Manderson-Galvin: spawned from body-horror films, a bodiless cover of Playboy Magazine, and Manderson-Galvin’s identity in flux – Perpetual Horror follows an uncontainable queer body through desire, disgust, disturbance, and oblivion. A softcore, leaky, hallucinatory journey away from conventional performance and femininity.
